Change of Address US Post Office The U.S. Post Office and Courthouse is one of…
I was moving and needed to change my mailing address. I wasn’t sure how to do it so I went to the USPS website to see if there was any information about how to change your address on their website. I was able to easily find the link that included more information about address changes. I looked over the information and it said I could go into the post office and change it or I could do it online. I thought it would be easier to just do it on the website right then and there.
Filled An Address Change Form
I filled out all my information so I could change my address and paid a small fee to have it changed. I submitted the form so I could change my address and I was curious if I would get a confirmation email that said it worked. A few minutes after submitting my information, I checked my email and had a change of address confirmation waiting on me. I double checked all the information to make sure it was accurate and it was. I was happy that it was so easy to change my address and that I could do it right on their website.
Started Getting Mails At New Address
I have been getting my mail with no problems at my new address. I am glad it worked, but I did check with the old post office address to make sure I didn’t have any mail coming to that address. I haven’t had any that has fallen through the cracks that I have noticed so far. I am shocked at how easy the post office has made it for their customers to change their address right from their computer. It was so easy and took no time at all to do.
